My Son's Time To Go - The Video

If we are to use human memory as our guide, we may only be fair witnesses, but we must reveal all that we see.

This is the video for My Son's Time To Go. I didn't set out to write an anti-war song. It's in the questions.

@amber: It's dark but it's a dark topic. I sat on the project for eight years having written it at the beginning of the war when I was afraid they'd nab my son.

Anyway, I told Armand I'd make something that Creative Commons and if anything I've done deserved that treatment, this does.

For six odd decades we've stomped across the planet. We've done good, bad and who knows, but it's time to rethink it as a tool in the diplomatic toolkit and see it for what it is: murder for a greater good. It's time to see it as more murder and less good.

So if the government won't show you war's cost, I sure as hell will.
